Dr. Berger has made several conference presentations, including ones at the American Educational Research Association Annual Meeting. She interned at ETS (Educational Testing Service) in Princeton, NJ and published in the ETS Research Report Series.

As a consultant to pharmaceutical companies (including Teva, Israel’s largest pharmaceutical company), her projects included protocol design, investigatory drug applications, clinical trial reports, investigators’ brochures, integrated summary of safety reports, scientific papers, and marketing materials. She has published in many peer-reviewed journals, including “The Lancet,” “Kidney International,” “Pediatrics,” and “American Journal of Kidney Diseases.” She taught epidemiology at Tel Aviv University and has received numerous grants for her research totaling over $130,000.

As a statistician at the Department of Rehabilitation and Geriatrics at Hadassah University Hospital, Mount Scopus, Jerusalem, Mr. Turvall was responsible for the statistical analyses within the Jerusalem Longitudinal Study. At present, Mr. Turvall works in the research department of the National Institute for Testing and Evaluation in Jerusalem, where he is in charge of analyzing and evaluating higher education entrance exams and surveys.
